To start with, acquaint yourself with the work of the contemporary architects/engineers below. Familiarize yourself with the character of their work – you will need to use reliable sources which go well beyond the websites cited here. Look closely at the steel structures and connection details of many of the buildings – you will need to find sources with excellent close-up photographs and sometimes detail drawings.
