The term Paper objectives and requirements are as follows:

• Conduct and evaluate secondary research related to a current public policy issue
• Develop and Recommend a new public policy alternative
• Consider it being made available to a Business or political leader
• and prepare a scholarly argument to support your new initiative(s).
• Secondary Research – discusses information originally presented elsewhere.

TOPIC examples:

SCOPE AND SCALE
Your paper has gone too far if you are past 7500 words. It has not gone far enough if it is 5000 words. However, remember that the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words”, is a figurative term and not literal. As such, you can create a more full term paper with graphs, charts etc. while not exceeding the word guidance above.
GRADING
The Rubric at the end will be used for grading the paper.
You must provide both an electronic (Word doc sent via e mail) and a hard copy of your term paper.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Please hand the term paper in using the Moodle site for this course on the date set in Moodle.

The electronic version will be submitted to the Turnitin plagiarism detection service to check for Plagiarism (see STUDENT CONDUCT AND ACADEMIC HONESTY section at the end of this course outline). The professor is required to report all evidence of Plagiarism to the Dean.
