South Central Asia is known for their exploding population. For the evaluation of the changing aspects of any country’s population, the important tool which can be used is the demographic translation. When I was young, then I hear many times that China is top in number regarding population which is more than 1 billion but when I grow up, I was shocked that India population is reaching to the population of China and will overtake China’s population soon and become most populated country around the globe. According to the United Nations, approximately 20% or more people of the world population are living and South-Central Asia. 1,172 people per square mile are living in India. The population of India in 2018 is more than 1,359,561,937 and United state has 327,627,870 people living in the country (Worldometers, 2018). If the population of India is compared with the population of the world, then we will get that 1 out of 6 people is Indian. 1.2 percent is the population growth of India by which we can estimate that it will reach 1.5 billion by 2030.
1,417,121,305 people are living in China while 1,359,561,937 people are living in India (Worldometers, 2018). We can see that India will overtake China in population soon. But I think that countries like China and India should concentrate on population control techniques. The poverty level can be reached to a minimum, and the population can be controlled if these techniques are applied. One similarity is present in United State, India and the rest of the world that the mortality rate is declining over time. This is because of healthcare facilities, improved nutrition, better education, and economic improvement. With the help of these factors, we are able to live longer without sickness.

Although South central Asia has an exploding population, India is seen to soon take over as the most populated country on the globe. Based upon the demographic transition model, India’s population is increasing tremendously due to changes evolving within the population and health policies. The United States of America’s population is expected to grow a great deal within the next few decades. The U.S. population will approximately be the same size of the European Union by the end of this century (China Profile, 2012). The population in China versus India is quite different for growing patterns. China is only expected to grow slightly within the next few years, and is eventually expected to decline, whereas India’s population is expected to grow at a very extreme rate, outgrowing China by 2020.
In 1950, India’s population was nearly the same size as the European Union, but today, it has around 4 times as many people. With these rates constantly rising, India is predicted to be around 3.4 times the size of Europe in 2060 (China Profile, 2012). With rates like this, it is important to set forth efforts to control the increasing population because it could cause potential issues such as poverty and loss of land.
