I. Purpose Statement

A. The purpose of my portfolio is to show future employers my goal and achievement over the past years.

B. Some of the reasons why I decided to develop my electronic portfolio are:

· My achievement, effort, and progress overtime.

· Provide documents my learning progress overtime.

· Share strengths and weaknesses.

· Share my skills for present and future employer.

C. The main audience of my e-portfolio is me. Other audience includes future employers and other online users.

D. Currently I have a strong knowledge in financial analysis of various financial statements of the organization. I also have skills in project management. Through my academic progress I also hope to learn some skills in sales and marketing plan and management.

II. Intended Audience

A. The audience expectations would be knowledge of the field, has great communication, and integrity standards.

B. I plan to meet the audience’s expectation by ensuring that I provide myself with the expected extra skills on business management and decision making process. I also plan to show integrity and effective communication in carrying out duties and assigned responsibilities.

III. Method of Organization

A. The content organization in my electronic portfolio will be done by skills, achievements, and degrees that I have acquired in my learning process.

B. The rationale for my skills organization method is to ensure that the skills and knowledge that I have in the field of finance, economics and business will stand out and could be easily noted by the prospective employers.

C. The organization method is relevant to the portfolio purpose which is to enable me to create a collection of skills that are visible to present to a prospective employer.

IV. Work Samples

A. List of work samples that I will include in my electronic portfolio include:

· Newsletters

· Spreadsheets of financial analysis and sale forecasts.

B. I would make it different and unique from a scrapbook because it reflects the artifacts and the actions that brings these artifacts into being. In making my e-portfolio, I think on how the audience will view it and thus I will employ some of the aspects that will make it informational, impressive as well as attractive. The used of rubrics will be an appropriate reflective evaluation in the e-portfolio assessment.

C. Brochures can be very useful tools that indicate detailed information about the business that I carry out in an organization. A brochure encourage the consumers to take some actions such as contacting me, give out you their address , visit my website or return a form. On the other hand, a newsletter is a publication that carries one main topic of interest too its subscribers and this can be the progress of a project and how everything is ran about the project. Finally, the Spreadsheets of financial analysis and sale forecasts gives some of the samples of financial records that I have successfully analyzed and interpreted for better decision making in an organization.

D. A work sample is a portion of what one as undertaken in his field of study. The purpose of a work sample is to give a signal to a future employer of my skills, which will support a given duty.

E. The rationale of including in my work sample in an electronic portfolio is to ensure that my past experience and achievements are known by the potential employer. This also gives them a chance to picture that skills and expertise that I have in my field and relate them with want they need.

F. I have skills and expertise in the field of business, finance and management and that is greatly reflected in the work samples that I have stated above. These work samples is a clear indication of how best I can under a financial or management of position in an organization. They also reflect dynamic mindset that can enable the organization for forecast its performance in the future.
