Project 2-Sample Media Guide
Develop a 1 year task list (including job position that will be responsible for a particular task), a timetable for the gathering of information and completion of the media guide. Also include a revenue generation plan (how you will pay for the media guide) for the development, publication, and distribution of a media guide. You must complete a media guide for Lacrosse. Remember this is a media guide and not a game day program.
Your sample media guide will include at least the following:
- An appropriate and professional layout/design that YOU
- At least four complete athlete biographies that you develop; with photos. You are allowed to “make up” the information in the biographies as well as use appropriate photos of your friends. Be sure the photos are consistent in size, format, clothing, etc. No more than 2 athlete profiles per page.
- Sample advertisement or sponsorship page(s). You should have at least 4 ads or sponsors for the guide. No more than 2 ads per page.
- Season schedule for the representative sport.
- Cover page and back page (don’t forget information for the inside covers)!
- Media plan that includes credentialing the press. Interview requests, and social media presence.
- Make sure everything is in 1-inch margin
- Pages are numbered don’t include page number for front cover page
- Has to be at least 10 pages or more if needed
- Numerical roster or alphabetical roster can include(name, jersey number, position, hometown or etc)
