Regardless of the chosen route, to professionally practice nursing the nursing degree holder should obtain NCLEX-RN certification. The level of knowledge, preparation required and the area of specialization are some of the judging factors in choosing which route has to be taken.
While comparing the two routes, a four-year BSN degree program is a more comprehensive approach since the student gains more in-depth knowledge as more time and consideration is given when compared to a ADN program.
