Claudia is a prime example of corporate America diversity complex that the strategy is to either adapt or stand the ground of respect for fair representation. In the case of Claudia, the training program scenario indicated a final straw to stand on her position of reasoning to the principle to conducting business on the senior level. Try and associate the core issues of Claudia response to Robert’s response at the lunch meeting, in which, the discussion of the issue continued to fester due to the lack of respect that created the issue.
Basically, the lesson is to avoid using stereotypes, especially, for women that is consider too emotional or Robert’s code words “too sensitive” when actually in analysis the lack of respect to “notifying” Claudia ahead of time that an announcement of the training program will be released from Robert’s department of sales.
