To achieve operational excellence, Wal-Mart must hire personnel that are familiar with the latest information technology, He must be able to coordinate complex information management and distribution network. The persons that are hired will play an important role for online retailing business of Wal-Mart. Currently, Wal-Mart’s system is adapted to handle large shipments of different product through its own transport. As Wal-Mart increases its online business, it will be required to ship small packets to large number of public locations. This goal is achievable if it has distribution related employees that are properly qualified, who have the experience in such operations and are capable of such operations.
