MARSHALL PLAN (1947)

 European Recovery Program (ERP)

 The 4-year plan was funded at $13 billion in 1947$ ($110 billion in 2016$)

 Funding began in April 1948

 Created by the Maastricht Treaty in 1992

 Became operational in 1993

 EC becomes European Union

 Established the Four Freedoms of the EU: the free movement of goods, capital, services, and people within member states
