The essay:
You are required to write an essay of no more than 3,000 words critically discussing the application of ethical theories or approaches to your ethical dilemma.
In the written assessment students should follow the guidelines as follow:
• describe the case-study containing an ethical dilemma. This should be no more than 200 words. (Make sure your dilemma is realistic).
• identify the ethical issues the dilemma raises – there will be more than one.
THIS IS THE DILEMMA THAT I RAISED AS FOLLOW:
Here is a slide presentation for the Ethic presentation essay that I presented and needs to be more elaborated in the essay as the dilemma issues.

Deontology Theory
Looking at this scenario from deontologist’s perspective
I disagree with the last speaker for the fact that nobody have the right including medical professionals to terminate anyone live
I will use the theory of Deontology to support my argument
Deontology theory belief in Justice and Autonomy for the best interest of the patients. Please explain WHY Deontology theory belief is for the best interest of someone need assistant to die.
This theory belief in universal law without contradiction (Kant, 1724 – 1904)
Deontology theory belief it’s his obligation for A Man to provides financial stability for his family, if husband loose his job he may not be able to provide food for his family, for example a husband is in financial difficulties due to loose of job. The wife asked him to rob gold shop to feed the children meanwhile, as the husband refuses to rob the gold shop to feed his family might cause the life of their children. Husband will never rob the gold shop because he knew it is illegal and it’s against the rule to rob the gold shop, and the consequences of children staving is less important to him than the rules. (Jason Miller Apr 29 2013 a moral dilemmas of a father with family available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0O2Rq4HJBxw
Deontology theory is about strict adherence or been faithfully to rule regardless of consequences.
Justify my opinion
Deontology theory say everybody is equal for treatment and value person as human being.
To my own point of view, it was good for Tony Nicklinson to die naturally than to allow doctors to end is life and according to the debate that came to the Commons after the supreme court said in 2014 that could not make a ruling in favour of Tony Nicklinson’s right to die because it was a matter for parliament. (Guardian 2014) Last assessed 27th Nov 2015
The BMA does not believe that it would be in society best interests for doctors to be able to legally end a patient life, because the BMA adherence to medical framework rule.
The British Medical Association said the court had made the right decision not to grant Tony Nicklinson right to die.
Even Tony Nicklinson cannot find the way round to justify his request. End of presentation slides
And rest of the guidelines below as follows:
• identify the different people involved, describe how each one might view the dilemma, and explain why they take this position. (Different people might include patients, users, carers, family members, the general public, pressure groups, front-line professional workers, health and social care assistants, youth workers, service managers);
• identify and discuss potential conflict(s) and points of agreement in terms of ethical arguments;
• consider how gender, ethnicity, religion, age, sexuality, etc might influence how people respond to the ethical dilemma.
• consider how far relevant codes of professional conduct and law, as applied to the dilemma, help with arriving at a moral solution.
Case studies
For this assessment, you are required to critically analyse a ‘case-study’ containing an ethical dilemma. Some of your case studies are based on real-life situations. However, for the purpose of your essay, use the case-study as it is presented. This is an abstract exercise with no one right answer, so if during your research you find out what decision was actually made in a particular case, this will not help you in constructing your own argument. If you feel, while working on your essay, that there are facts you would need to know which aren’t included in the case study, make sure that you highlight these in your work. Part of the exercise is for you to be able to recognise what extra information you would need to be able to make a reasoned ethical argument. So if, for example, your chosen case study has not specified the age of the patient, and you think that this is essential for making an ethical judgement, you could write the following:
‘In this kind of situation it would be essential to know the age of the patient because….’
And/or you could make an assumption (see below for more detail about assumptions) about the patient’s age to support your argument:
‘The age of the patient is a morally important factor here, for the following reasons …. For the purposes of my argument I am assuming him to be 45, and will base my argument on this assumption.’
