The CEO and other officers are somewhat apprehensive and have limited knowledge about distant education. The audience’s apprehension is expected due to the current market. Some commercial distance-education ventures are already beginning to revise their business plans in light of financial insecurities or shortfalls. In fact, several recent projects have found that it is not easy to attract outside financing to their for-profit venture.
