Directions:
Gaining a competitive advantage in today’s marketplace is critical to a company’s success. You have been asked by the business development lead to research a business to compete with and provide a report. The business development lead has not given direction on which company you should research. It is up to you to choose a company that is interesting to you or you want to learn more about to write your report on.
Provide the name of the company you chose to do your report on and a brief 1 paragraph description and reason why you chose that company. Then present your findings in clear sections so the CEO can read the document easily.
Your findings must be able to answer the following questions in 3 clear sections with headings:
- What goods or services does the company manufacture or sell?
- How does the company set its goods or services apart from its competitors? Does the company compete on price, quality, service, or innovation?
- How does the company’s customer communication and social media effort convey those competitive advantages?
Provide your report in a word document with standard formatting either single or double spaced in 12 point Times New Roman font. Use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Your report should be between 250 and 1000 words long, longer reports will be accepted so feel free to go over the minimum.
