In completing this assignment, you will be asked to utilize and demonstrate use of all skills gained over Units 1 through 4.
Using the “Critical Writing: Using the Core Process to Write a Paper (pgs 190 – 195) from our textbook “Learning to Think Things Through: A guide to critical thinking across the curriculum” critically work through the six step process on analyzing the article and writing a critical review of the article. Make sure you are incorporating the circle of elements (Chapter 2) SEE-I method (Chapter 1) and the Standards Check (Chapter 4). These steps will be your guide as you read, reflect, evaluate, analyze, apply and write a critical review of your chosen article.
Your paper should be 4 – 5 pages (double spaced, 1” margins) in length, not including the title page or reference page. No abstract is required. Your paper should be formatted using APA style (6th edition) with proper page formatting, title page formatting, headings, in text citations, and reference list. You must include at least two scholarly resources, your chosen article and one other resource. You may use one of the course textbooks or other scholarly resource to support your paper.
Student includes an introductory paragraph with a clear thesis statement discussing the purpose of the paper. Student provides a brief summary of the main points presented in the body of the paper. 0-10
