Developing core values starts with a comprehensive vision that consists of a core ideology and an envisioned future. Core ideology, is the yin, and defines core values and what the organization stands for. Yin does not change and complements Yang, the envisioned future. The envisioned future is what the organization wants to become and what changes will be required to reach its future.
Core ideology forges the corporate culture, its character and determines the unchanging values that drive employee behavior.
