Creat a powerpoint for this
nursing Capstone project. My topic will be discussing the difference is
between nurse administrators and nurse managers, and how their
roles
have different effects on patient care. My reference list is not
completely together, but I am working on that. groundwork I’ve done
that’s needed to create the
PowerPoint. It has to be at least 8-10 slides.

Overview: Capstone Project – Presentation and Evaluation
Your project should represent high-quality work – something you would
expect to see in a professional setting. Perhaps your employer will be
interested in facilitating
its use in a real-life situation!
You
will upload your PowerPoint for grading. You will also upload the forms
or documents you would use for evaluation (two evaluation tools will be
created) of your
information dissemination. These might be in the
form of informal observation records and/or formal tests or
questionnaires. (This evaluation portion will be submitted
as one
Word document. See below for all that must be included). There is a
separate portal for each portion of the assignment in Blackboard.
Objectives
Design evaluation tools to accompany your project.

InstructionsYou will create your project’s presentation and evaluation tools as an electronic files.
PowerPoint Portion of Assignment (Assignment 2):
PresentationYou will submit a Power Point presentation containing a
title slide, 10-15 slides each with comprehensive content demonstrating
use of your peer-reviewed sources, and
reference slides. Remember to
include a source for each image or graphic included on the slides; this
is easiest done directly on the slide under or next to the image.
Your “talking points” are considered speaker notes and should contain
20-30 minutes of “talk time.” Information read directly from the slide
should be included in the
speaker notes. We recommend you time
yourself while reading your speaker notes to determine if your
presentation is within the 20-30 minutes for content. Your speaker
notes should be written exactly as you would be speaking to your
audience. You do need to include citations in your speaker notes. Be
sure to include all of your
references on the reference slide(s).
Evaluation Portion of Project (Assignment 3):(This will be one document with all of the following included in that document)
Title PageCreate a title page according to the standard for the UTA College of Nursing.
Evaluation (2 Tools are required – one for quality and one for
content)You may create a new Word document for most of the types of
evaluation tools you would use, such as tests, questionnaires, charts
for observations notes, etc. Create
two evaluation tools. Include
all in the same file as separate pages with clear headings and
instructions designating the use of each tool.
Other types of
evaluation tools you might use are databases or spreadsheets. It is
important that you design such tools so that you need only to upload and
submit one
file, though, so if you use a combination of Word
documents and spreadsheets, copy/paste the contents of the spreadsheets
into the Word document to create a single
file.
Evaluation form
requirements: You must submit two evaluation forms. One form will
address evaluation of content (example: a post-test or survey, audit
form) and one
form will address quality (rate the presentation,
speaker, and environment; consider using a Likert scale). Remember you
will create both forms for this assignment. Do
not copy forms from
other sources. Include the time, place, and who you presented
presentation. Also, discussion on the methods you used to evaluate your
project.
Include why the method, how you will use the results, and plans for improvement.
GridYou will include the full completed grid from Module 3. Please be
sure to make any needed changes based on feedback from your coach.
Evaluation ParagraphYou must include at least a paragraph (minimum 100
words) to discuss the methods to evaluate your Project. Include why the
method you have chosen to evaluate the
project is appropriate.
Include in your paragraph how will you will take results from the
evaluation and change or improve the presentation.
Reference
PageCreate a formal reference page including all of your nine (or more)
references from your project. Please be sure to use formal APA format.
Refer to your APA manual for
any questions.

Points)IndicationsDescribe in the space below the topic, problem, or
issue within the focus area that your Capstone Project will address.
Explain why this issue is important and why you
selected it in
particular. Provide examples of situations related to the issue in your
practice and other examples you might expect to see in your selected
focus area.• The focus of my paper centers on the murky distinction
between nursing administration roles and nursing management roles, and
how a misunderstanding of the two
can lead to confusion and lead to
issues resolving conflict in the healthcare workplace. I chose this
issue because I wanted to take the opportunity to learn more
about
nurse administrators and the role they play in this system, as I am
already familiar with the function of nurse manager. I also chose this
topic because it is
important for nurses like myself and patients to
understand the difference, so that any issues that arise from the
patient’s end may be solved efficiently by
contacting, depending on
who is better equipped to provide the solution, and any conflicts within
the nursing hierarchy can be limited if not avoided altogether.
AudienceDescribe
in the space below your target audience, including the setting for
which your information dissemination will be planned. This project is
designed for an in-
person setting so an internet or online
audience/setting would not be appropriate for your presentation. You may
mention other populations who would benefit from this
information
as well, but explain why you decided to address your target audience.•
The target audience for this presentation is ground nurses and the
patients they serve on a daily basis. This presentation is meant to help
them better
understand the difference between a nurse administrator
and a nurse manager and how that difference plays out in healthcare
delivery. I have targeted these two groups
(nurses and patients)
because they are the ones supremely affected by a misunderstanding of
the two nursing roles. Patients and their families who do not under the
distinction between administrator and manager run the risk of placing
blame in the wrong places when an issue arises, which could exacerbate
the situation. For
instance, a patient and his family members who
are: 1) upset by the lack of allocated resources to the patient’s
department; and 2) do not understand the difference
between nursing
roles may end up taking frustration out on the ground nurses or nurse
managers, when the nurse administrator is responsible for budget
allocations. A
misconception of the hierarchical nurse roles among
nurses could also give way to conflict if, for example, a nurse is upset
with her manager about scheduling changes,
when an administrator is
in charge of staff scheduling. By extension patient families also
benefit from this information, as well as any other lay persons.
ImplicationsIn
your Capstone Project, you will be developing a mechanism to
disseminate important information related to the topic you have
selected. Explain, in detail, the
impact of directing this
information to the appropriate audience(s). Please make sure you have
considered all aspects (financial, regulatory, accrediting, safety and
patient satisfaction outcome, issues and aspects of the implication):•
Once nurses and patients understand the difference between the nurse
management and administrative functions, the system of conflict
resolution in the heath
facility will be more efficient. Any issues
raised by the patient or the patient’s family will be brought to the
right person’s attention, either by the patient or the
patient’s
nurse, and it can be handled correctly. Additionally, any issue that
nurse might be having with another nurse will properly be handled by the
nurse manager,
or depending on the issue, a nurse administrator
would be better equipped to bring a solution. This can lead to a more
efficiently-running workplace and a higher
patient satisfaction.
Outcomes
and ContentYou have already submitted your draft Outcomes and Content
topics, so you need to use the provided grid and make any needed
changes. For this assignment, you must also
include at least three
references per outcome. You may include references that are not from
peer-reviewed journals, but be judicious in their use, and do not
include
those in your count of required articles. Remember that all references must be less than five years old.
StrategiesIn
the grid, describe each visual aid, handout, and/or verbal
presentation/demonstration strategy that your information dissemination
would include. You may use the
same strategies for each outcome, or
you may “mix and match”. Here are some of the types of visual aids you
might use:Slides (like
